Theo Brassard, Live Casino and Odds Editor

Theo edits the explainers on this site: how live studio games and table games work, what the numbers on a slot mean, and how cricket and other sports prices are built.

Theo's approach to the India edition

Writing for readers in India changed the brief. Since 1 May 2026, online money games have been prohibited under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2025, so Theo's pages for this edition explain rather than recommend. Every key page states the legal position near the top. Every example uses probabilities and units rather than rupee stakes, so that no page reads as a staking plan.

What Theo covers

How Theo sources facts

Legal facts come from the dated summaries recorded in our fact base: the Act's number and dates, the sections on advertising, offering and payments, and the help lines that serve India. Game facts come from studios and launch coverage. When a fact cannot be sourced, Theo writes "not on record" rather than estimating. He is not a lawyer, and nothing on his pages is legal advice; anyone with a legal question about their own situation should consult one.

What Theo will not write

No bonus offers, no payment instructions, no sign-up encouragement, and no description of any operator as licensed or legal in India. He also avoids the language of "tips" and "sure bets": the purpose of the odds pages is to show why prices sit below fair value, not to suggest that anyone can beat them.

Independence

The site earns commission through partner links, as explained on the affiliate disclosure page. That has no bearing on what Theo writes: the law is what it is, and the arithmetic is what it is.

On cricket coverage

Cricket gets more attention on the India edition than any other sport because that is where readers' interest lies. Theo's cricket pages explain formats, the toss, dew and the required run rate in terms of probability — what a price implies and why it moves — and stop there. They contain no tips, no predictions and no staking examples in rupees, and they say plainly that online betting for money is prohibited.
